NOW OFFERING: Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, Massage therapy & manual osteopathy
Isha graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2021. Her specializations include orthopedic rehabilitation and pelvic floor therapy. She's a born and raised Calgarian, with a passion for all things health and wellness, as such, her work has a heavy emphasis on exercise therapy and nervous system regulation.
She has a special interest in the pre and postnatal population, and uses a combination of manual therapy, mind-body techniques, and active rehabilitation to help get her patients back to feeling their best.
Isha is a big proponent for mind-body wellness, believing that they are intimately connected in one's wellbeing.
Prior to physiotherapy, she trained in Hatha Yoga in Rishikesh India, and has certifications in Yoga Therapy. She also has a strong appreciation for strength training--especially in women and in the aging population--and will not shy away from teaching her patients how to lift heavy!
In her free time, Isha enjoys training Muay Thai, finding cute coffee shops to enjoy a good book, playing board games with her friends, and writing for her wellness blog.
As a past nurse, I am passionate about helping others. I achieved my certification at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy & Hydrotherapy in Victoria, BC.
My therapeutic touch incorporates Swedish Massage, Deep tissue, Myofascial Release Techniques with different types of pressure but may also provide a gentle and relaxing treatment if preferred. I’m also well versed in pregnancy & paediatric massage. As a
lifelong learner with an innate curiosity about the mind-body connection, learning about the nervous system and its direct correlation to our pain perception was very insightful. As a result, I aim to calm the nervous system in every treatment to facilitate the balance needed for healing the body.
I am here to provide support to you, the patient, and it starts with a great experience. My hope is to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable enough to heal. I try to help by personalizing treatment plans - taking into account symptoms, medical history and anything else you might find important.
I look forward to furthering my knowledge and incorporating mindfulness into my practice to help you meet your wellness goals. I hope to provide you with some well-deserved relaxation, healing, and rejuvenation.
